Hoping that still holds.ĪFAIK NIK never was part of PhotoLabs. When they replaced the fusion drive on my iMac, they said they would put on the OS of my choosing. I've got my eye on a refurbished MBP 16 and on my list of questions is can I get it with Monterey instead of Ventura. I'll be sticking my head in the door of the Apple Store soon. Anything you buy from this point forward will probably have Ventura installed and Photolab 4 isn't supported on Ventura. M1 isn't going to be your issue, the OS is.

Since I'm in the home work phase of this endeavor, figured asking about real world experience couldn't hurt. I did find a blurb from 12/20 that says update PL 4.1 "brings support for Apple M1 computers". Not seeing a way to contact them on a general inquiry. Would anyone have experience with PL4 / NIK on a M1 Mac?Īs long as the software is 64 bit it should still run fine under Rosetta II and you'll never know the difference, but what does DXO have to say about it when you asked them?ĭxO isn't exactly the paragon of customer support. I'm seeing that PL 6 Elite no longer includes the NIK bundle. I use PL 4 Elite for my initial processing which has NIK / Silver Efex Pro, a must have for me.
